I have a 1GB GXT jumpdrive/thumbdrive/pendrive whatever they are called. I use it to store my downloaded music for my Ipod rather than take up memory on my C: since Itunes stores the music in its library on the C: so the next time your Ipod is plugged in to your computer it updates it. My reason is that I have a dinosaur of a computer (6 GB) and until I get a computer with more memory (160-500 GB) or buy an extenal harddrive, I was quite content with the thumbdrive. My problem is that it was working fine (shows up on "My Computer" as F:/" and my Ipod as G:/, since I have 2 USB ports E:/ for CD's or CDR's C:/ and finally D:/) one week and the next week it doesn't show up at all. I tried Troubleshooting with Microsoft and the Device Manager says it works fine but "My Computer" doesn't show it at all. I also tried installing the disc that came with the thumbdrive and uninstalling it but still the same. What do I do to get my jumpdrive back??
