I wrote this last post 3 weeks after working on this project last and all information was from best memory. I have looked at the bootsector that comes with M32 again and note that the bios call for reading floppy driveis is the same as the bios call for reading hard drives (Int 0x13 ah=2) but that bootsector assumes drive 0x00 (floppy drive) and forcefully selects that drive while my particular motherboard remaps drive 0x80 (Primary Harddisk) to the usb port.

Not sure if all motherboards place in register dx the proper drive number before it hands excution over to the bootsector, but if they do it maybe possible to write a generic bootsector for almost all boot devices, of course without regaurds to file system.

If anyone else is interested in this topic i am open to suggestions and comments.
