GridWorks, I apolagize for my wording in my last post... what I meant was that I have seen several ways to boot from HDD, seperate from a given distro, and they all required some work from the user that will bar anyone but programmers and very experienced computer users from trying them. My wording sounded really bad when I looked back on it, and I apolagize to all those who are working on the HDD booting problem, I was only trying to put to words the fact that we need an automated and simple way to achieve HDD boot. perhaps an install program? I'm sorry I've been posing ideas but not code, I've been working on learning 32-bit assembler. I've coded in about everything but it, including 8-bit asm (z80), so this project really interested me. I'm a little behind in my classes right now, so it'll be a bit before I contribute anything. Again, I'm sorry for the rudely worded statement, I definantly did not mean that the way it sounded.
